I'm Rosalie Sutton, a Jane Austen devotee and JAFF (Jane Austen Fan Fiction) author.

My love affair with Austen began with Pride and Prejudice. Like many readers, I found myself captivated by Elizabeth's wit, Darcy's complexity, and the timeless exploration of love and self-knowledge. Over the years, I discovered the vibrant world of JAFF and began writing my own stories: exploring "what if" scenarios for Elizabeth and Darcy, imagining new possibilities within the world Austen created.

Now, I write for fellow Austen enthusiasts, crafting tales that honor the spirit of Austen's characters while exploring courage, affection, and enduring love.

On my Substack publication, The Regency Way, I write about the historical context that shaped Jane Austen's world. I explore Regency fashion, economics, social customs, and daily life: the constraints and details that give Austen's stories their depth. New posts every Friday.
